Mino Ware 美濃焼

The Kokuyou Flat Plate has a nearly flush surface with a minimal rim, offering a wide, uninterrupted interior. Kokuyou (黒曜) translates to Obsidian, a deep near-black glaze fired by Sakuzan with a fine, hammered texture that carries a subtle metallic sheen across the entire surface. Part of Minoso's Fire collection, the finish draws from the raw, intense character of flame and heat. The clean, open surface works well for anything where food should read without interruption.
